Turkey Trot: Start Thanksgiving morning with a brisk run at the 32nd annual Torrance Turkey Trot. The 3-mile race begins at 8 am at the Sam’s Club parking lot in the Torrance Crossroads Center. More information.

Mama Liz Thanksgiving Dinner: Spend this holiday in Hermosa Beach at the annual, free, Mama Liz musical concert and variety show community dinner. Come one, come all. Volunteers are needed and donations are welcome, but not required. From noon to 4 pm at the Kiwanis Hall, 2525 Valley Drive in Hermosa Beach. More information.

Santa Arrival Parade: Come to see fire trucks, a marching band, colorful characters, and of course Santa at the Santa Arrival Parade at the Manhattan Village Mall on Friday, Nov. 25 at 9:30 am. More information.
